Description: Nice lot of Negro League related pieces - mostly autographed (VG-NM) Includes Buck O'Neil autographed Monarchs throwback hat ("1937-55 KC Monarchs" inscription) and (2) different O'Neil signed books (one a leather bound limited edition); Monte Irvin autographed unofficial baseball which has been decorated on the panel below with a likeness similar to his Hall of Fame plaque. While not signed by George Sosnak it is almost certainly his artwork; My Life In The Negro Leagues book signed and personalized by Wilmer Fields; Josh and Satch softcover book signed by Josh Gibson Jr; Turkey Stears and The Detroit Stars book signed by Double Duty Radcliffe, Bobby Robinson, and Bill Owens; Buck Leonard autographed business card; (4) limited edition postal covers by Wild Horse Cachets which are hand painted/decorated. All are Negro League related and those depicted include Josh Gibson (signed by Josh Gibson Jr), Satchel Paige (unsigned), Monte Irvin and Larry Doby (signed by both), and Oscar Charleston and Ray Dandridge (unsigned); Willie Wells book signed by author Bob Luke; Only The Ball Was White hardcover book with an index card signed by author Robert Peterson tucked inside; and a 1984 reprint of the landmark book Sol White's Official Base Ball Guide.
