Description: Collection of (8) 1920s hand-cut HOFer strip cards with Mathewson, Johnson and Speaker (Authentic). Outstanding collection of original Hall of Famer strip cards are cut well within the borders, and some with slightly irregular cuts. Lot includes a sampling of cards from various issues, including 1920 W522, 1923 W515-1, 1920 W520 and 1925 W590. Includes (3) Walter Johnson, (1) Christy Mathewson, (1) Grover Cleveland Alexander, (1) Rogers Hornsby and (2) Tris Speaker. All grade Authentic due to severe cuts, though most have a GD-VG appearance. ($1,000-$2,000)
