Description: Lot of (2) 1968 Transogram A.L. and N.L. store counter display panels with Mantle, Aaron & Mays (GD). Tough-to-find original Transogram American League and National League cardboard panels were used as the backing headers for the company's collector figure store counter displays. Each panel, measuring approx. 12"x18," features (30) images of players in the respective leagues, including Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Roberto Clemente, Carl Yastrzemski, Al Kaline, Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Pete Rose, Bob Gibson, Lou Brock, Tom Seaver, Willie McCovey and many others. Both panels have some light creasing, staining and other age-related wear, but display better than the technical grade suggests: GD. ($500-$1,000)
This internet auction will close to initial bids at 10pm E.S.T on October 29, 2025. Bids may be placed at any time up until the closing and bidding will extend past 10pm E.S.T. on October 29 for 20 minute intervals per lot for each bid placed on a given lot.
