Description:1970 Indiana Pacers ABA Championship ring presented to Freddie Lewis - uniquely customized with additional diamonds (Lewis signed letter of provenance) (EX) Rare and desirable ring was issued to Freddie Lewis in honor of the Indiana Pacers win of the 1970 ABA Championship Game over Los Angeles. Lewis was a member of (3) Pacers Championship teams and was named to the ABA All-Time Team in 1997 in recognition of career. The ring has been modified from its' original form so that more diamonds could be added. The face reads "Pacers 1970 Champions" around the edge with the upper surface accented by a number of diamonds and an additional ring was added around the edge (below the text). The name "Lewis" is at the top of one shank with Pacers team logo below. Opposite has an ABA insiginia with the date and scores of the Championship game. Marked "Herff Jones HJ 10K" on the interior band (which has Lewis' name engraved) and weighs (29) grams. Resized to approx. (12.25) and it was clearly cherished and worn often with the high points on one shank worn down. Exceedingly rare and one of only a few Pacers ABA rings which has entered the market.
