Description: Ty Cobb stealing third base photograph, c. 1927-28 (FR). Excellent 5"x7" action photo shows Cobb in a Philadelphia Athletics uniform stealing third against the Cleveland Indians with Hall of Famer Joe Sewell and Johnny Hodapp also pictured. Photo is undated with no stampings, but does have numerous handwitten editorial pencil notations on the reverse. Photo has a heavy crease in the upper left, as well as some heavy staining/discoloration and a few spots of paper loss. A small white sticker is also affixed to the reverse: FR.Final Bid: $171.00
