Description: Functional Babe Ruth Quaker Oats celluloid umpire scorer, N.Y. Yankees hat variation, c. 1934-1935 (FR). Available only through a mail-in Quaker Oats promotion, these scorers can be found today with Ruth wearing both Yankees and Boston Braves hats, as his time with the Yankees was drawing to a close in 1934. The offered version features the scarcer Yankees hat on the front, and a fully functional scorer on the reverse with tools at the edges to keep track of runs, balls, innings and strikes. Reverse with baseball scene appears NM, while celluloid front with Ruth photo has multiple creases: FR.Final Bid: $160.00
