Description: c.1946-47 Eddie Pellegrini Boston Red Sox professional model road jersey (team/number changes) (PR, see description) Road gray flannel jersey has a "Pellegrini" embroidered strip tag in the collar below "Tim McAullife" label and size (44) flag tag. The jersey was recycled within the Boston Red Sox farm system with their team name removed and "Headers" in block letter applied in its' place. In addition, the number on the back was removed and changed to "9." Use and extensive wear are evident throughout and there are many large flaws including some holes, rips, and tears along with a missing section of cloth at lower front.
