Description: Tommy Davis professional model bat with rare cork grip c.1968-72 (1969 Pilots jersey number on knob) (EX) Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Davis facsimile signature in the barrel measures 35.5" long. Model number "M169" is factory stamped in the knob along with a vintage "12" notation. During the labeling period of this bat Davis wore that number while a member of the Seattle Pilots in 1969. Nice use is evident throughout with ball/contact marks to the hitting surface. There is a large handle crack. Interestingly the handle is covered in a cork grip which appears to possibly have been applied at the Slugger factory: EX
