Description: 1963 Topps complete set (576) with (4) SGC-graded cards, including Rose RC (PR-NM; see description). Very popular vintage Topps set, notable for its attractive and colorful design, includes (4) cards graded by SGC: #s 200 Mickey Mantle (SGC 2 GD), 390 Hank Aaron (SGC 6 EX/MT), 537 Pete Rose RC (SGC 1 PR) and 540 Roberto Clemente (SGC 6.5 EX/MT+). Additional key cards grade as follows: 115 Carl Yastrzemski (VG/EX), 173 Bombers' Best with Mickey Mantle (PR), 210 Sandy Koufax (VG/EX), 228 Tony Oliva RC (VG), 250 Stan Musial (VG), 300 Willie Mays (VG), 340 Yogi Berra (VG), 380 Ernie Banks (EX), 400 Frank Robinson (EX OC), 412 Dodgers' Big Three with Sandy Koufax (EX), 415 Bob Gibson (EX OC), 472 Lou Brock (VG/EX), 490 Willie McCovey (VG/EX), 500 Harmon Killebrew (EX OC), 520 Orlando Cepeda (EX), 544 Rusty Staub RC (VG), 550 Suke Snider (VG) and 553 Willie Stargell RC (GD; warping). There is a wide variance in condition, from PR-NM, however it is worth noting that a majority of the cards have a bend/curl to them that could be the result of moisture exposure or warping, though very little moisture staining is apparent (light staining on the edges of some cards noticeable only when stacked). Cards graded by SGC were submitted from this set by Hunt Auctions. Includes many VG/EX or less cards and many EX/MT or better (with curl) as well as some marked checklists. Range: PR-NM.
