Description: Joe Morgan professional model baseball bat c.1983 - Phillies NL Championship season (EX) Nice bat matching Louisville Slugger factory records as having been shipped to him during the Phillies 1982 National League Championship season. Louisville Slugger 125 model M253 bat with Morgan facsimile signature in the barrel measures 34.5" long and weighs 31.1oz. Uncracked with very heavy use including deeply embedded ball/contacts marks, minor grain swelling, and rack streaks. A nice coat of pine tar remains on the handle. Number "8" is written on the knob in vintage marker however it is possible that there was a previous notation below which was covered over: EX ($500-$1,000)
