Description: Late 1930s to early 1940s autograph book with (189) signatures - (18) Hall of Famers incl. Mel Ott, Connie Mack, and Chuck Klein (EX) Vintage autograph album is filled with signatures of baseball players along with some others related to the game. Notables include Connie Mack, By Saam, Charlie Root, Billy Herman, Goose Goslin, Bucky Harris, Bennie Bengough, Lefty Grove, Bob Doerr (twice), Joe Cronin, Chuck Klein, Lloyd Waner, Earl Averill, Hank Greenberg, Ted Lyons, Luke Appling, Mel Ott, Carl Hubbell, Bill Terry, Willard Hershberger, Ernie Lombardi, Bill McKechnie, and others. An autograph of Gabby Hartnett appears to be secreterial. Most are done in pencil with a few ink mixed in and generally rate 7/8 out of 10 of better (a few lesser). Light general handling wear and a few pages have been removed: EX ($1,500-$2,000)
