Description: Extensive collection of (600+) issues of Sports Illustrated spanning 1954-2018 (GD-NM) Very large lot of Sport Illustrated issues spanning their first year of production in 1954 continuting through 2018. This would make a good basis for a complete library with much of the legwork already done and just some missing issues to fill in. Both the first and second issues are NOT included. There are approx. (71) from the 1950s, (184) from the 1960s, (85) from the 1970s, and the balance dating thereafter. There are many key cover subjects and notable issues throughout and a list (provided by our consignor but not confirmed) of the cover dates for issues done from 1954 through 1979 is available. In addition, there are (17) issues of Playboy (1965-1998) included. Varying degrees/types of wear throughout with full GD-NM range and condition generally improving as the magazines become more recent.
