Description: 1954 Sports Illustrated #1 (PR/FR) with assorted 1950s era postcards and other pieces (PR-EX) Includes 1954 Sports Illustrated first issue which has the baseball card insert sheets. Covers are separated from contents and near fully separated from each other with rips/tears/wear along left edge (PR-FR); 1957 Topps Robin Roberts card; an assortment of (34) postcards (a few are similar type/size items) which mostly picture baseball players with a few football mixed in. These were sent in response to a fan mostly in the 1950s and include (15) J.D. McCarthy postcards incl. Minoso, Kiner, Berra, Drysdale, and Kaline; Dormand postcards of Berra, Ed Lopat, and Allie Reynolds; Bob Buhl Bill & Bob postcard; Jimmy Piersall Caffee Time advertising postcard; Eddie Mathews J.J.K.
