Description: Pair of Sir Edmund Hillary autographed items, including National Geographic map and photo (Sigs. MT). Interesting group of items autographed by Sir. Edmund Hillary, who in 1953 became the first mountaineer to reach the summit of Mount Everest. Includes 1988 National Geographic fold-out map of Mount Everest signed in black marker by Hillary, and a 4"x6" photo of Hillary also signed by Hillary. Also included is the November 1988 National Geographic magazine that featured the map insert. Signatures rate 9 out of 10, and items appear EX-NM.
