Description: Lot of (5) 1940s-1950s official baseball reporter scorebooks, including N.L. Dodgers games (VG/EX-EX). Excellent lot of original leatherbound reporter scorebooks printed for the Baseball Writers Association of America. Includes (1) Wilson-Jones minor league scorebook, with games scored in pencil from 1941-1942 and (4) MacGregor Goldsmith scorebooks: (1) with N.L. games scored in pencil from 1946, including Brooklyn Dodgers; (1) with N.L. games scored in pencil from 1948; (1) with N.L. games scored from 1949, including Brooklyn Dodgers with Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, etc.; and (1) with minor league games scored in pencil from 1950-1952. All interior pages are intact, and scorebooks have scattered wear: VG/EX-EX.
This internet auction will close to initial bids at 10pm E.S.T on September 25, 2024. Bids may be placed at any time up until the closing and bidding will extend past 10pm E.S.T. on September 25 for 20 minute intervals per lot for each bid placed on a given lot.
