Description: Lot of (2) autographed Cairn "Batter" statues, signed by sculptor Tom Clark , c. 1997 (NM-NM/MT). Nicely done pair of 15" statues produced by the Cairn Studio represent batters in the earliest days of baseball. A description of the game from the 1890 Encyclopedia Brittannica is on the reverse of each statue. Each has been signed on the base in black marker by sculptor Tom Clark, rating 7/8 out of 10. Includes (2) COAs from the Cairn Studio. Statues appear NM/MT.
