Description: Charming 1909 baseball player letter seeking a spot on an Indiana team roster (GD-EX) Appealing framed display (18.5"x15" at extremes) contains a handwritten letter and the original mailing envelope. It is dated 1909 and signed by "R.R. Corkill", addressed to "President Ball Club, Evansville, Ind." Content relays that he is seeking a spot on the roster of the club and had previously played in the Central League. A the bottom is a reply which states that the team was already set for the season.
