Description: John Tener signed 1911 letter with JSA cert and (8) vintage photographs (FR-VG/EX). Nice lot devoted to John Tener, who started his career in baseball as a player with the Baltimore Orioles in 1885, then went on to become president of the National League, then 25th governor of Pennsylvania from 1911 to 1915. Includes (1) letter on official Pennsylvania Executive Chamber letterhead signed by Tener, with signature rating 7/8 out of 10. A JSA authentication sticker is affixed to the letter, and a basic cert is also included. Also included are (8) 1910s-1920s Tener photographs of various sizes, including original wire photos.
