Description: *UPDATED with MEARS LOA* Rare Grover Hartley single signed baseball with c.1921-30 Hartley professional model bat (Bat EX, Ball EX/MT-NM)Reach W.Harridge Official American League baseball has been signed "With Every Good Wish to Mr. J.B. Armstrong, from Grover Hartley." Fountain pen signature rates 8-8/9 out of 10 and the ball is lightly toned with a few minor imperfections. Hartley passed away in 1964 and is exceedingly rare on a single signed ball; Louisville Slugger 125 model bat has "Hartley" block lettered in the barrel. It measures 33" long and weighs 34.9oz. Strong use is evident throughout with ball/cleats marks, some mild grain swelling, and a nail repaired handle crack. The letter "V" is burned in (inside a circle) to the left of the centerbrand.
