Description: 1913 Baltimore Terrapins Federal League team formation documents including By-Laws.Interesting group of documents which related to the formation of the Federal League team including (13) pages of minutes taken at the first stockholder meeting on October 28, 1913. The second page is signed by all (8) of the original shareholders and the last page is signed by the team secretary. Included within these pages are the by-laws under which the team was to operate and other interesting aspects of their formation and running. They appear to have been cut from a large ledger with slightly irregular edges and there is some other mild scattered wear; additional "Subscription To Common Stock" document of same size which is signed by the same roster of shareholders and notes how many shares each owned; and a State of Maryland Treasury Department certificate related to the formation of the enterprise.
