Description: Very early Spalding rowing machine, c.1910s (VG/EX). Rowing machine manufactured by Spalding has a largely intact "Spalding Home Apparatus" decal on the base. Comprised largely of wood and cast iron, the piece measures 70" long and is at least partially functional. There is a bracket which is mounted to the underside of the seat and holds wheels on which it glides when in use (missing a small portion and thus can only hold one wheel).
