Description: 1956 Ned Garver Detroit Tigers contract with other Garver autographed/related material (VG-EX/MT) Includes 1956 Player's Contract ("Duplicate Copy" typed along the top front) which has been signed inside by Muddy Ruel (on behalf of the team) and Ned Garver (a later in life signature done in ball point pen). Also includes a number of Garver related pieces incl. vintage 8"x10" photo of him pitching to Ted Williams (signed by Garver); vintage approx. 7"x9" photo of him with Rogers Hornsby and Bob Cain (signed by Garver); vintage 8"x10" photo of him with Robin Roberts, Casey Stengel, and Eddie Sawyer at the 1951 All-Star Game (signed by Garver); 1951 All-Star Game program signed on the cover by Garver with 20 win season related inscription; (3) additional Garver signed 8"x10" photos and (1) unsigned (these are more recent prints); 1950 and 1951 Who's Who in Baseball publications, each signed on the cover by Garver (1950 also signed by him on interior page); 1952 issue of Baseball Magazine with a Garver cut signature attached to the cover; 1951 issue of the Saturday Evening Post which is signed on both the cover and an interior page by Garver; and (5) additional Garver autographed pieces incl. index card and postcard (with former owner address label stuck to front).
