Description: Clarke Bros. Whiskey advertising display with "Choose Your Favorite" player section incl. Joe Jackson & nine HOFers, c.1917 (EX-EX/MT). Interesting point of sale piece done on heavy paper stock measuring 9.25"x11.25" promotes "2 Of The World's Greatest Whiskies" with "2 Of The World's Greatest Ball Teams." Affixed at center near the top is paper seal for "Clarke's Pure Rye High Ball" with the logo appearing in a baseball design which accounts for the tie-in between their product and the game. The lower half includes printed lineups for teams of "All Star Americans" and "All Star Nationals" and each player is aligned with a small paper tab that could have been removed. Text at the bottom suggests that each tab had a pre-printed amount which would determine how much the purchaser was to pay for their bottle. Verbiage above relays that the Whiskey "May Cost 1c" and "Not Over 18c." Players listed within the pre-printed lineups include Joe Jackson, Ty Cobb, Tris Speaker, Walter Johnson, Ray Schalk, Eddie Collins, Frank Baker, G.C. Alexander, Johnny Evers, and Honus Wagner.
