Description: 1971 Topps near-complete set (737/752) with HOFers including Aaron & (108) hi numbers (see description). Lot, housed in pages and a binder, features 737 different cards out of the 752 in the set. At first glance, the near-set appears to be in high-grade condition for this tough, condition-sensitive year. However, upon closer inspection, it is apparent that the vast majority of cards have been recolored with most exhibiting tiny black marker touch-ups to the corners to create the illusion of a sharper appearance. Set, with (108) high numbers from the final series (#s 644-752) is missing most key cards and RCs, but does include a fair number (all recolored) of stars and Hall of Famers, including #s 14 Dave Concepcion RC, 45 Catfish Hunter, 55 Steve Carlton, 230 Willie Stargell, 264 Joe Morgan, 361 Don Sutton, 380 Ted Williams, 400 Hank Aaron, 450 Bob Gibson, 55 Harmon Killebrew, 570 Jim Palmer, 594 Al Hrabosky RC, 625 Lou Brock, 740 Luis Aparicio and more.
