Description: 1914 Northampton Baseball Club Trophy presented to Charlie Babington (EX). Outstanding 14"x11" silverplate tropy cup was presented to Charles P. Babington of the Northampton Meadowlarks in the Twin State League (Northampton, Mass). Engraving on the trophy names Babington "Most Efficent Player of 1914," as presented by the R.J. Richards Co. Babington, a centerfielder, would go on to play a season in the majors with the New York Giants in 1915 before fading into obscurity. Silverplate is heavily tarnished, but can likely be cleaned up if desired: EX.Final Bid: $267.00
