Description: Lot of (28) 1936-38 Chicago White Sox autographs, including Appling on c. 1930s team stationery (Sigs. NM). Outstanding lot of vintage White Sox autographs, highlighted by a letter on c. 1930s White Sox stationery (Louis Comiskey president) signed by 14 members of the 1936 White Sox, including Luke Appling, Jimmie Dykes, Red Evans, Babe Phelps, Vernon Kennedy and others. Two signatures on the letter, Tony Piet and Mute Haas, are secretarially signed. Also included is a vintage scrapbook page with (14) cut signatures of the 1938 White Sox, including Appling, Dykes, Luke Sewell, John Rigney and others. Signatures rate 7/8 out of 10.
