Description: c.1920 Babe Ruth original snapshot photograph with possible traced autograph (GD/VG) Outstanding vintage 3"x4.75" image of Ruth in Yankee pinstripes with a period notation on the back stating that it was taken in May of 1920 at The Polo Grounds. There is some mild wear including a crease and some wrinkles along with discoloration at top. On the front what is at best a traced "Babe Ruth" autograph or at worst an attempt by someone to replicated his autograph which was then traced over. The signature style does near perfectly mimic that which Ruth would have used in the period: GD/VG ($750-$1,250)Final Bid: $1,741.00
