Tough-to-find lot features two payroll checks from the Oakland Baseball Club, parent company of the Pacific Coast League team Oakland Oaks. Includes (1) Aug. 30, 1938 check paid to former Major Leaguer Bill Conroy and endorsed by Conroy on the back. Also included is a July 1, 1932 check paid to Pacific Coast League Hall of Famer Bernard "Frenchy" Uhalt and endorsed by Uhalt on the back.
