Description: Lot of (10) c.1900-20s baseball photographs incl. (2) by Paul Thompson (FR-EX) Includes fantastic 5"x7" game action image of a player sliding into base which has "Doyle…" written on back along with a "Brown Bros" stamp; 8"x10" photo of a player at bat which has numerous pencil notations on back including Maisel at bat, Rariden catching, and Dineen Umpire (chipping/loss at corners/edges); 8"x10" photo of a Reds player identified in pencil on back as Slim Salee beside "International Film Service" stamp (chip to edge along with a small tear and crease that have tape over them on back); small photo of an early New York Giants player with "Ferguson" notation on back beside photographers' stamp; 4.5"x6.5" photo of a player fielding which has "Devore" written on back beside "Pictorial News Co" stamp; (2) photos of Fred Snodgrass (8"x10" and 4"x5") which have "The Ring" stamps and other marks on back. Both of these have photographers mask applied to the fronts; photo of Eddie Farrell with 1925 dated paper caption and Underwood stamp on back; and (2) photos with "Paul Thompson" stamps on the back along with pencil notations which identify them as showing "Archers Hands" and "Drummond Brown of Yale."
