Description: 1882 Harvard football team premium or supplement style photograph (EX). Approx. 8.25"x10.5" photo mounted on a cardboard backing. The back is captioned "EIGHTY-TWO VARSITY ELEVEN" with the names of the team members identified to match their locations on the front. We believe the photo to be from 1882 (or thereabouts), but the cardboard itself does not appear to be as old as 1882, so it is possible that the paper was applied in a more recent period.
