Description: c.1892 Yale Athletic Association large format photograph - likely autographed and including (2) College Football Hall of Famers (EX) Crisp large format sepia toned photograph showing members of the Yale Athletic Association which was comprised of members of various sports team of the period. Housed in 19.5"x22.5" period wood frame with visible area of photo and mount being approx. 13"x15". It appears to be autographed by all (9) individuals shown in period fountain pen rating 8 to 8/9 out of 10 (please note - JSA reviewed but declined to authenticate this piece due to a lack of exemplars). Most notable among the group are College Football Hall of Famers William "Wild Bill" Hickok and George Foster Sanford. Light general toning is a touch more pronounced in areas and some staining at lower right appears mostly to effect the matting. Mild wear otherwise: EX ($400-$600)Final Bid: $799.00
