Description: Lot of (6) 1981-1986 Donruss complete sets with Mattingly, Ripken and Gwynn RCs (VG-NM/MT). Outstanding run of Donruss complete sets, featuring one set each from 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985 and 1986. Included are a broad array of key 80s RCs, including Cal Ripken Jr., Tony Gwynn, Wade Boggs, Ryne Sandberg, Don Mattingly, Darryl Strawberry, Roger Clemens, Kirby Puckett, Jose Canseco and more. All except 1981 are open factory box sets with writing on the tops and/or sides of the boxes. 1983 set has numerous cards with small writing in pencil on the backs (not on three key RCs), but all of the other sets appear to be free of writing. Most cards appear NM-NM/MT or better. Range: VG-MT (with note on writing on some cards in 1983).Final Bid: $176.00
