Description: P.F. Canvas Shoes "Big League Baseball Stars" advertising display c.1953 Attractive large format (19.5"x26.75") vintage advertising display done to promote a "Big League Baseball Stars on TV" show was issued by the Hood Company in promotion of their line of sports footwear. Nine of the ten players depicted are Hall of Famers with the most notable including Ted Williams, Bob Feller, Stan Musial, Yogi Berra, and Gil Hodges. Mild corner and edge wear (slightly more pronounced at bottom) with some scattered spotting/discoloration and some isolated small areas of surface loss.
