Description: Vintage autograph album with approx. (35) different Hall of Famers (and others) incl. Joe DiMaggio and Connie Mack and (unsigned) 1937 Yankees snapshot (GD-EX) Vintage autograph album has a good number of signatures throughout with some being signed directly on pages and others on a variety of items which are mounted (many of these are glued in place while some other are held in place with corners and can be removed). In most cases the pages will have an image of the player (or something else) affixed. Many are back to back (meaning they are listed as being signed on the page however another signature/piece is on the back side of that same page). Highlights include: Casey Stengel signature on back of postcard; vintage snapshot taken at Yankee Stadium and identified on the page to which it is mounted as dating to 6/24/37 and there is a notation that Lou Gehrig is shown as first baseman; signed album pages incl. Joe DiMaggio, Red Ruffing (2 one in ink, the other has been traced/enhanced), John Broaca, Yogi Berra and Bob Fischel (dual signed), Mel Allen, Lee MacPhail Jr, Monte Irvin, Rube Marquard, Lefty Grove, Charles Gehringer, Bob Feller (with Early Wynn cut affixed to same page), Warren Giles, Bowie Kuhn, Lloyd Waner, Sam Rice, Edd Roush, Waite Hoyt, Zach Wheat, Luke Appling, Bob Shawkey, Joe Medwick, Chub Feeney, Ford Frick, Stan Coveleksi (with Bob Lemon signed image affixed), and Al Schacht; cut signatures adhered to pages including Connie Mack, Joe McCarthy, Frank Crosetti, Red Rolfe, Bill Dickey (an additional Dickey on same page is traced), George Selkirk, Johnny Murphy, Frank McKoskey, Jack Saltzgaver, Pie Traynor, Bill Terry, Charlie Grimm, and Eleanor Roosevelt; publication page images adhered to pages incl. Fred Lindstrom, Robin Roberts, and Phil Rizzuto; Earl Averill real photo postcard; Lou Boudreau signed Hall of Fame postcard (bottom edge trimmed off and there is a piece of tape affixed); Frank Crosetti note on Govt postcard; Ralph Kiner note on paper; Pie Traynor, Bill Terry, and Joe Cronin triple signed page; Stan Musial signature on back of trimmed Hall of Fame postcard; Ed Charles handwritten note on postcard. Cover of book has fallen off (but is included) and there is general handling and storage wear throughout.
