Description: Lot of (9) Rawlings Cal Ripken Jr. "2131" game streak commemorative balls, with (8) sealed in original boxes (EX/MT-NM). Official G. Budig A.L. balls were issued to commemorate Ripken's surpassing of Lou Gehrig's consecutive game's played streak on Sept. 6, 1995. Balls are stamped with Orioles logo and "Ripken 8; 2130; 2131," marking Gehrig's number of games and Ripken's record-breaking number, respectively. Eight of the nine boxes remain sealed with logo stickers on top, while one box is open and the ball showing light toning: EX/MT-NM.Final Bid: $84.00
