Description: Lot of (172) tobacco and bread inserts of felt flags and velvet silks, c. 1910-1915 (GD-VG). Large quantity of early felts and silks, many with Persian Rug designs. Includes (7) 5.5"x4" felts with Persian Rug design; (12) 6.5"x4" felt flags from around the world; (5) 7"x5" felts with Persian Rug/flag designs; (36) 8.5"x5.5" felt flags from around the world, including the U.S.; (4) 8.5"x5.5" felts with Persian Rug designs; (44) 11"x7" felt flags from around the world, including six U.S; (2) 12"x9" felts with Persian Rug designs; (23) 4.5"x2.5" velvet silks with Persian Rug designs; (34) 4.5"x3" velvet silks with Persian Rug designs; (2) 7"x4" velvet silks with Chicago pennant designs and (3) 8"x5" velvet silks with California pennant designs.
