Description: Lot of (2) 1988-89 Topps hockey wax boxes, Brett Hull RC possible (Packs: EX-NM). Outstanding lot of (2) original 1988-89 Topps hockey wax boxes, each with (36) unopened packs of (12) cards each. Packs offer the opportunity to pull the RC of Brett Hull and others, as well as Hall of Famers such as Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky. One box has a light retail "blackout" mark across the top, while the 2nd box is unmarked. All packs remain tightly sealed, but several show signs of degrading on top due to the old gum with small holes and tears evident. Due to the age of the gum, it is likely the top card on each pack is damaged. Boxes show light to moderate shelf wear (VG/EX-EX), and have a faint musty odor. Packs: EX-NM.Final Bid: $221.00
