Description: Very nice lot of New York Giants related photography c.1920s-40s (60 pieces) (GD-EX) Nice selection of Giants related photographs which generally range in size from 5"x7" to 8"x10" with two or three smaller. Some are press photographs, some are otherwise marked, and some have no markings. All are vintage and the bulk would by classified Type (1) however there are some other types mixed in. Includes photo of the Giants 1923 Championship being raised in early 1924; photo of the 1933 Giants on the steps of City Hall with NL President John Heydler (1933 date stamp on back); photo of John McGraw receiving a key to the city of Rocky Mount NC with 1920 dated caption on back; (4) additional photos of John McGraw; photo of a Ross Youngs memorial plaque which was to unveiled at the Polo Grounds (1928 dated caption on back) and an image of several people (presumably players) at his gravesite; group photo of attendees at the 1927 Silver Jubilee to John McGraw luncheon; photo of Mel Ott in Indian headdress; photo of Bill Terry; group photo of George L.
