Description: Lot of (8) c.1910s-20s New York Giants photographs (1 with Thorpe) (GD-EX) Includes approx. 6.5"x7.5" photo showing a play at third base including Jim Thorpe. There is an International stamp on the back and a caption typed on. Handwritten 1913 date and there is a Baseball Magazine hologram affixed; 5"x17" photo with Paul Thompson stamp on back and handwritten "Wiltse" identifier; (2) photos of Heinie Zimmerman with Bain stamps on backs; and (4) approx. 8"x10" group photos of uniformed Giants players incl. one with partial 1924 dated caption on back (players unknown), undated c.1910s image of George Gibson talking with pitchers at Spring Training, image of members of the pitching staff c.1917-18, and c.1916 photo of players at Spring Training.
