All three pieces were displayed in the National Sports Gallery at the MCI Center, which became the Verizon Center and then the Capitol One Arena in Washington, D.C. The Sports Gallery closed in 2001. Lot includes Mickey Mantle ""Triple Threat,"" Joe DiMaggio ""The Yankee Clipper"" and Babe Ruth ""Sultan of Swat"" display panels, measuring from 16.5""-18.5"" by 5.5"" with black and white, die-cut action photos of each player that are removable. Pieces come from the estate of the gallery's curator and include (3) letters of provenance from FC Associates. Pieces show light to moderate wear, and approximately 5"" of the Mantle photo is peeling from its base. Range: VG-EX-EX/MT. "
