Description: c.1930s-40s St. Louis Browns professional quality prototype or sample jersey (EX) Vintage jersey is of the highest quality construction and while it does not fall within the parameters of that which would have been worn by the Browns on field it is almost certainly a sample or prototype done for the team. It may also possibly a jersey used in their Minor League system. Zipper front jersey has ""Browns"" team name embroidered across the front and number ""17"" on back. ""Rawlings"" tag appears in the collar along with size (42) tag. Brown and orange trim is fully intact. Mild use and some general age related wear throughout.
