Description: 1958 Pittsburgh Pirates professional model home jersey (See description) Cream colored vest style jersey has "Pirates" team name across the front. Rawlings Hall of Fame Flannel tag is on the front tail with adjacent size (42) tag and number "11" is embroidered below. On the inside front tail are a wash tag and "Set 1 1958" flag tag. The embroidered "11" would have signified the number which appeared on back at the time of issue however the number "51" now appears on both front and back. The Pirates did not start placing numbers on the front their jerseys until 1962 suggesting that the flannel was in the team inventory for several years and was used well after its' original 1958 season.
