Description: Eddie Joost autographed c.1954 Philadelphia Athletics professional model hat (see description) Unique style dating the Athletics final season in Philadelphia with the white embroidered team logo outlined in red. "Mitchell & Ness" tag in on the interior leather band which has "KM Pro Cap" and size (7 1/8) stamped in. Signed "Best Wishes Eddie Joost" on the band in ink rating 6-6/7 out of 10. The number "1" is written under the brim in marker but was likely added later. The hat can be suitable positioned for display however please note that the brim is missing portions of the stiff insert and has loss of stitching throughout and there are some tears and small missing pieces of material on the underside: see descriptionFinal Bid: $262.00
