Description: Whitey Witt attributed professional model bat c.1916-17 with Witt signed stat ball and others (EX) Hand turned Hillerich & Bradsby bat with early double dash-dot-dash centerbrand measures 33.5" long and weighs 33.5oz. The name "Witt" is block lettered in the barrel. Strong use throughout with a repaired handle crack and some grain swelling to the barrel. Includes LOA from Michael Montbriand in which he attributes the bat to Whitey Witt. While it is likely that is was issued for Whitey Witt this can not be stated with certainty. Includes Witt single signed baseball (toned) on which he has inscribed career stats; additional lightly toned Witt single signed ball; (3) Witt signed newspaper clippings (all folded); Witt and Bobby Shantz signed Bing Crosby golf tournament hat; and additional hat brim signed by Witt (removed from a hat): EXFinal Bid: $932.00
