Description: Mamoth lifetime collection of stamps from around the world dating back to the 1850s including (8) Davos albums of United States (nearly 40 albums total) (see description) Extensive collection of stamps from around the world dating back as far as the 1850s with the overwhelming majority of pieces issued throughout the 20th Century. Housed in (8) Davis albums, (27) Harris "Citation" albums, (3) Minkus Supreme Albums, and a few of other types. The pages within are well filled in some areas/regions/dating periods while others will be sparse and in some cases there are long runs of empty (or nearly empty) pages. The (8) albums of United States stamps are largely filled with empty spots predominantly appearing for the earlier issues. Some albums will show mild handling and storage wear while others have some more pronounced wear and in some cases loose interior pages. While content is to extensive to provide an in depth inventory we invite all interested parties to preview the lot at our location as there are surely some more desirable pieces mixed in. Stamps themselves will include both used and unused pieces with varying degrees/types of wear throughout.
