Description: 1950 Philadelphia Phillies "Whiz Kids" framed display with (38) autographs (VG-NM) Large framed display (33"x41") contains a 1950 Phillies team photo, some related text, and signatures from (38) team members which was put together by James Spence as part of his "Year To Remember" series many years ago (with his business card attached to the back). Signers (mostly appearing on index cards) incl. Robin Roberts (Perez Steele postcards), Willie Jones (1950 Bowman card), Eddie Sawyer (Topps card), Curt Simmons (1957 Topps card), Andy Seminick, Stan Lopata, Jim Konstanty, Cy Perkins, Dick Sisler, Bennie Bengough, Bill Nicholson, Russ Meyer, George Earnshaw, Del Ennis, and others. The signature of Eddie Waitkus has largely faded from view however a replacement (on index card) is included. The Richie Ashburn signature in the piece (on 1958 Topps card) is secretarial.
