Description: Willie Stargell "1979 World Series MVP" autographed vintage Pittsburgh Pirates jersey (EX/MT) Desirable style is done to replicate that which would have been worn by the Pirates in the late 1970s or early 1980s. "Pirates" appears across the front with number "8" below. Number is also on back below the name "Stargell." A Rawlings tags is inside with "Set 1 1979" flag tag however Pirates jerseys issued for use were done by Descente in 1979. It is possible that this was produced as a salesmans' sample. Signed "Willie Stargell 1979 World Series/MVP" on the front in marker rating 7/8 out of 10. Light wear to jersey is noted for accuracy: EX/MT ($750-$1,000)Final Bid: $2,662.00
