Description: Sandy Amoros professional model baseball bat c.1950s (EX) Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Amoros facsimile signature in the barrel measures 34.5" long. Model number "S2" is factory stamped in the knob which has a vintage "15" player number notation (worn by Amoros from 1954-57). Uncracked with outstanding use throughout including grain swelling to the hitting surface which is covered in ball/contact marks and there is a heavy coat of pine tar on the handle. A few green rack streaks may derive from the bat rack at Ebbets Field. An exceptional game bat from one of the star players of the era: EX ($500-$1,000)Final Bid: $2,049.00
