Small portraits and facsimile signatures of the team members are surrounding an image of a plaque which states: "To Joseph Vincent McCarthy In Recognition And Grateful Appreciation Of His Sportsmanship. His Fine Qualities As Manager, His Human Understanding, His Modesty And His Kindness And Loyalty As A Friend. This Tablet Is Affectionately Inscribed By His Boys: Worlds Champions 1936-7-8".
