Description: 1937 "Thrilling Moments" complete set (72 cards) with Babe Ruth in original album (see description) Oversized paperstock album (10.25"x15") issued by Doughnut Corp. houses a complete set of (72) handcut cards which are then mounted in their proper place with a biography of the subject. Notables include Babe Ruth, Thomas Edison, Amelia Earhart (chip to corner of card), Bill Tilden, Jack Dempsey, Theodore Roosevelt, Knute Rockne, Sitting Bull, Bobby Jones, Buffalo Bill, Charles Lindbergh, John L. Sullivan, Red Grange, George Washington, and Abraham Lincoln. Cards would likely grade PR at best if removed (due to back damage/residue) however they have a far better appearance. Mild general wear to album which has some chipping/creases to corners/edges and interior pages are loose: see description ($500-$1,000)Final Bid: $1,116.00
